Telling stories that matter for HSBC Global.

At a time when racial injustice has prompted protests around the world, HSBC Global asked us to develop a series of films for their social channels. The ‘My Story’ mini-series spotlights five Black businesses in the UK, US and Canada in their own words.

In each film, an entrepreneur discusses how they’ve got ahead in their particular industry. This ranges from London’s startup scene, international property development and a chain of boutique bakeries across the Deep South.

Released ahead of Black History Month, the films didn’t shy away from hard truths. The interviewees spoke candidly about the prejudice they’ve experienced and the challenges of getting their businesses off the ground.
